Ashley Carter has received the Mayor of Lewes Trophy for the Most Improved Player of 2011.
The cup was presented at the band’s rehearsal on Thursday April 28th by the Mayor Of Lewes, Cllr Micheal Turner.
Ashley, who lives in Lewes, plays cornet in LGB’s training band and is a student at Ringmer Community College.
The Mayor of Lewes Trophy was launched as an annual award in 2009 by the then mayor, Cllr Michael Chartier. The winner receives a cup and music vouchers.
