LGB Brass is officially the best 4th section band in the London and Southern Counties region.
The band won the National Brass Band Championships regional contest at Stevenage today (Sunday March 20th), beating 15 other bands.
The result means LGB Brass qualifies for the 4th section National Brass Band Championships in September for the second year running. The Championships, in Cheltenham, bring together the best bands from across the country.
As a result of the win, LGB Brass has been promoted to the 3rd Section for 2012.
