Come and see us in December! The band will be playing carols throughout December – the dates are on our home page. We’ll also be giving two very different Christmas concerts.
The first is at Lewes Town Hall on Tuesday 5th December. Formerly run by The Lewes Lions and Lewes Rotary, the band is now putting on a concert of fun festive favourites, including audience carols and of course, The Twelve Days of Christmas. Our training band, BrassSparks, will also be performing a short set. Proceeds from the concert will go to support our initiative to bring brass music to the schools in Lewes and surrounding villages where we are providing whole group lessons for free.
The second is our annual retelling of the classic Dicken’s story “A Christmas Carol”. Excerpts from the story are narrated and the band play music, mostly festive, to reflect the passages being read.
A glass of mulled wine or soft drink and a mince pie are included in the entry price for both concerts. Tickets are available from Lewes Tourist Office or TicketSource.
