The band has been almost completely silent since March!  We managed to have a few socially distanced rehearsals in groups of 10 players between the two lockdowns, and we are hoping to be able to get back to it after 2nd December.

2022 will be our centenary year and we are planning various projects to celebrate this, including having a brand new piece of music written especially for us.  There will be a free concert at Lewes Town Hall and we also hope to make a CD – something the band has never done before.  Of course, all this costs money!

With all our engagements cancelled in 2020, and 2021 in doubt, we have no income – something bands are facing up and down the country. Therefore, several bands have come together to set up a Crowd Funding page #saveourbrassbands.  Our page has been set up to raise money for our centenary celebrations. ​We’d love you to take a look, and if you are able to, make a small donation.  There are various rewards you can select if you want to.
