Daniel Starnes was presented with the Most Improved Young Player award by the Mayor of Lewes, Cllr. Mike Chartier at rehearsal on Thursday 9th of May.

The award was instigated by the present Mayor during his previous term of office, to encourage and reward the hard work young people put in to learning to play a brass instrument with LGB.

Daniel is certainly on a roll – he was presented with the award last year too!  If he carries on like this, he’ll be playing for Black Dyke Band soon!
