Band has busy Remembrance Day

Sunday 11th November was, for obvious reasons, a very busy day for the band. Adam Kearley, LGB’s bumper, represented the band in the Memorial Garden in Newhaven, playing the Last Post and Reveille; Phil Goldsmith was out doing the honours with the Royal British Legion in East Dean, whilst the rest of LGB took part in the service at Ringmer.  There, Simon Emberley took the lead in playing the bugle calls.

The band regrouped for the afternoon to play at the joint afternoon ceremony in Lewes, where Adam again played the calls.  The band then led the parades through the Town both before and after the church service at St John’s Sub Castro.
