LGB would like to congratulate Jo Highfield (pictured left – not her own facial hair), who played trombone with the band during her final year of studying at Brighton University, for graduating this summer with a 2:1 degree in International Events Management.

We’re not entirely sure how she managed it, having listened to her tales of all night essay marathons and waved her off on nights out in Brighton on Thursday nights when the rest of us were trudging home to bed after we’d finished rehearsal and been to the pub, but it turns out she’s a bit clever.

Well done Jo – and good luck for the future. For obvious reasons, we’re all hoping Jo ends up living and working within easy driving distance of Lewes…
