Sunday 22nd April saw us celebrate our 90th birthday in style, with a concert at what sometimes feels like our second home, Lewes Town Hall. The programme featured solos from former member James Emberley on euphonium, as well as from current members Tony Line (also on euph) and Simon Emberley (cornet). The LGB training band – directed by Adam Kearley – took the stage for two pieces (‘Little Brown Jug’ and ‘The Force’) that were greatly enjoyed by the audience. Several former members and friends of LGB joined us for the second half, with many more in the audience.
If you missed it (and you did miss out) you can now feel like you were there thanks to the stunning photos of the day taken by Helene Carter of Fingerprint Photography (who also happens to be Ashley Carter‘s mum!).
