Award winning Lewes, Glynde and Beddingham Brass band (LGB Brass) are a friendly, active concert and contesting bass band. We are looking to recruit players to swell our numbers and have vacant seats in the Cornet sections (positions negotiable), and are looking for an additional Horn and  Bb Bass player to swell our numbers.

We  contest at Local (scaba), Regional and National levels in the 2nd section section. In 2013, we won the National Championship for the 3rd section, performing Penlee.

2016 scaba Autumn contest saw the band win: Best Hymn, Best Test Piece, Best Horn section, Best Bass Section, Best MD, Best Solo Horn and Band of the Year. Our MD, Ian Stewart was also recognised for his 50 years of service to brass banding.
