Who does what?

It takes a whole team of people to keep this organisation ticking over. Making sure we turn up in the right place at the right time and wearing the right outfits is a job in itself, and then there’s fundraising, managing the money and organising events and marketing – and that’s before we’ve even played a note!

Musical Direction

Arguably the most important people in the band, our MDs are responsible for repertoire selection and performance standards. They lead our weekly rehearsals and generally keep us all in line.

Trustees and Committee


The trustees are responsible for the ‘bigger picture’, making long term decisions about where the organisation is going and how we intend to get there. They meet four times a year.

Our committee take care of the day to day, business as usual activities of the band. They meet monthly.
