LGB Brass Principal Cornet, Simon Emberley, took the award for Best
Instrumentalist at the Southern Counties Amateur Brass Band
Association spring contest in Hove on Saturday April 18th.
The band was competing in the second section of the contest and
took 4th place with its performances of The Contester march and
the test piece Labour And Love, by Percy Fletcher.
