LGB Brass concert in The Grange Gardens
LGB Brass and the Mayor of Lewes, Cllr Amanda Dean, presented a
concert of brass music in The Grange Gardens, Lewes, on July 26 2009.
The event revived a tradition for playing in the gardens on summer
Sundays by the former Lewes Town Band. Donations at the end of the
concert raised over £200 for the Mayor's charities: Women's Aid and
the Clock Tower refuge.
Rain finally stopped play but not before Cllr Amanda Dean, the
Mayor of Lewes, conducted LGB Brass for Sussex by the Sea
Band vice president, Mick Horscroft takes the baton for Singing
in the Rain
Principal cornet, Simon Emberley, plays the Post Horn Gallop
LGB Brass on the terrace at The Grange Gardens, Lewes
