In competition
LGB Brass is taking on 16 other bands from the London and Southern
region in a contest at Stevenage on Saturday March 15th. The top two
bands in each section of the contest qualify for the National Brass
Band finals in Harrogate in September.
Two years ago, LGB Brass came 2nd at Stevenage and went on to
compete in the national finals. This year, the band is hoping for
another success with its performance of the test piece, Dark Side of
the Moon.
LGB Brass will be competing against 16 other bands from across
London and the South.

Rehearsals are
at All Saints Arts Centre on Thursday evenings: 7-8pm for juniors and
8-10pm for the full band
