Contest success for LGB Brass
LGB Brass, took two top prizes at a competition
at Hove Town Hall on Sunday April 6th.
The band’s musical director, Ian Stewart, won the
prize for Best Conductor.
.jpg) Musicians Katy Wakeford-Brown, Jonathan
Moles and Jane Waldron (right) won the cup for Best Trombone Section.
The whole band took 2nd place for its
performance of Dark Side of the Moon by Paul Lovatt-Cooper.
.jpg) The competition, organised by the Southern
Counties Amateur Bands Association, attracted bands from all over
Southern England, from as far away as Essex, the Isle of Wight and
