LGB Junior Section
 There are about 15 members of the junior section of LGB Brass. The
conductor is Matt Key (see left), who plays percussion in the senior section.
Matt also arranges much of the junior band's repertoire.
The junior section has beginners, younger members of the senior
section and older musicians returning to brass bands after a break.
The band puts on its own concerts. Recently, it provided
music for the Mayor's Charity Carol Service in Lewes and the Christmas
event at Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare.
The junior section also takes part in local competitions. In 2006,
and again in 2007, an
ensemble of players from the junior section won the youth section of
the Quartet and Ensemble Contest organised by Southern Counties
Amateur Brass Band Association.
